the ‘World Press Freedom Day’ annually celebrates the fundamental principles of press freedom. May 3rd is also to defend media from attacks on their independence & to pay tribute to journalists who lost their lives on duty.
off duty was my GPS during my roadtrip through Italy in 2014. I ended up in Cinque Terre. and I enjoyed every second of this lucky mistake. the ‘Five Lands’ is a rugged, steep coastline on the Italian Riviera that is surrounded by hills. it comprises five villages in the Liguria region that are carefully built as terraces. a special charm is the lack of visible corporate development. the ‘Cinque Terre National Park’ is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
a ‘silver lining’ is an expression to symbolize hope in an unfortunate situation.
